Keeping your stock list updated
Its very important that you keep your stock list updated every 6 months or so. Unfortunately, fund manager does not update your stock lists automatically rather provides you with a user interface where you can import the Bhavcopies downloaded from the following sites:
Import stock lists in 3 easy steps:
1. Left click on the application icon in the system tray to get action menus: select Import Bhavcopy. You should see a new window titled Import BSE/NSE Bhavcopy.
2. For Importing BSE Bhavcopy:
- Select BSE India radio option from the Select Exchange section.
- Browse ( i.e. button with label '...' placed above Cancel button) to the extracted file downloaded from 1st link given above.
- Click on Import button to begin importing. New stocks will be added and existing stocks if any will be updated. User will be displayed a message after the process is over.
3. For Importing NSE Bhavcopy:
- Select NSE India radio option from the Select Exchange section.
- Browse ( i.e. button with label '...' placed above Cancel button) to the extracted file downloaded from 2nd link given above.
- Click on Import button to begin importing. New stocks will be added and existing stocks if any will be updated. User will be displayed a message after the process is over.
